Endowment

Make a gift that will last a lifetime!

New Horizons serves at-risk students who do not always speak English at home and have parents who are unable to help their children with their homework.  Typically, these students have high school graduation rates of 48%.  Over the past 15 years, New Horizons has offered a range of programs empowering at-risk students to reach their full potential.  With the help of these programs, our students are reading at grade level, being awarded college scholarships, graduating from high school at a rate of 90%, and contributing to society.

We are committed to continuing to offer our range of programs to the at-risk children in our community.  But the number of at-risk students who need our programs outpaces our own growth.  Students are being turned away from our programs due to capacity and resource constraints.  An additional funding source that can be relied upon year after year is the next step to achieve a level of financial security for New Horizons to continue to grow.  To do this, your gift to our endowment is essential!  Your gift can be made today, or you can make a planned gift to the New Horizons Endowment Fund.  For more information on planned giving, please click here.

The Community Foundation of Collier County manages New Horizons of SWFL's endowment fund and offers many advantages:

  • Sophisticated Professional Investment Management - Agency funds are pooled with other assets of the Foundation to achieve better investment diversification.

  • High Quality, Cost-Efficient Administration and Stewardship Services

  • Acceptance of Unusual Assets - With an endowment fund in place, we can receive the benefits of a gift that may be difficult for us to process directly.

  • Planned Giving Services - The Foundation administers charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts and lead trusts.

"I know I will be able to achieve my goals because of the experience I've had in New Horizons." - Jesus, Super Teen

With a tax-deductible gift to our endowment fund, you can help ensure that we will continue our mission and impact the lives of our students and their families for years to come.
