Super Teens Club

The Super Teens Club is an after school program that focuses on the academic and social needs of at-risk teens from 6th through 12th grade in a supportive and exciting atmosphere.  Monday through Thursday each week during the school year, the Super Teens Club provides an alternative to the negative influences surrounding our students.  Every day at the club, teenagers are making the decision to improve their grades, grow in their faith and become productive members of our community.  Over 50,000 hours of tutoring and mentoring are provided to over 200 students who attend Super Teens Clubs in Naples, Bonita Springs and Estero.
After School Tutoring and Mentoring

Super Teens' staff and volunteers assist the students to complete their homework and school projects.  They spend time getting to know the students sharing in students’ concerns and accomplishments.  Staff and volunteers are committed to the students' success by offering encouragement, guidance, and support to pursue their education and become successful and contributing citizens to our community.  Student progress is monitored weekly through ParentLink on the school district's website. Personal accountability and responsibility are built as students and staff review their grades together.

Internet-Based Learning

Internet access is available daily so students can work on research assignments, accomplish homework, develop computer skills and other academic skills using a range of software applications.

Character Development

Additionally, students have 30 minutes daily for a faith-based character education lesson based on core values of honesty, integrity and personal responsibility.

Special Projects

Guest speakers from the community are invited to speak to the teens at the Super Teens Club on a variety of topics that range from career options to managing a budget, physical fitness to networking, and nutrition to scholarship opportunities.  Students pursue application of what they learn as they apply for jobs, college admission, scholarships and more.

Snacks

Students come to Super Teens Club straight from school and are greeted with snacks and drinks to enjoy before they tackle their homework and internet projects.
