Volunteers Make a Difference

New Horizons of SWFL has many volunteer opportunities:

  • Tutoring and mentoring K-12 students one or more days a week, Monday – Thursday, during the school year. You may tutor based on your preferred age range or during the time that suits you best:

    • Super Kids (K-5 elementary aged students) 3:30-5pm

    • Super Teens (6-8 middle school students) 4-6pm

    • Super Teens (9-12 high school students) 2-4pm

  • Serving on one of our committees to help with fundraising, marketing, finance, planned giving and more

  • Teaching a craft or skill to our 4th and 5th grade girls or boys on a Friday afternoon

  • Sharing a career opportunity with the teens

We hope you will join our dedicated team of volunteers who are changing the lives of students in our community!

WHAT VOLUNTEERS SAY

"Education and opportunity are the lifeline to achieving success. Being an immigrant myself, my gratitude for all that I have achieved in life allows me to give back to these kids in whose faces I see my own. Making them feel confident that they can excel, that they are loved and anything is possible if they work hard is the best gift I can give them. I am blessed to have them in my life thanks to New Horizons of Southwest Florida."
